Still having hiccups, after installing my applications, hitting a part where the system will freeze, revert to the native resolution of 640 x 480 in 256 colours and then the system will prompt hits "A serious windows error" and asks me to save my work and reboot.

Grrrrr..

I had something similiar .... due to leaky caps on the motherboard .
