Wrong...it is a very basic, elementary mistake...something u have to do to the cam before u use it to shoot pics...nothing to do with lens, batts, settings etc. (am dropping a huge hint :bsmilie: )

Hahah....stupid rite...coz still got half hour before the fireworks due to start, I oredi changed batts, check settings, adjust adjust swee swee...den decide to switch off to save power, den TCSS with Don and Will....until fireworks gonna shoot liao...hand on remote release, squeeze for few secs, den close...funny no shutter sound...check top LCD..wah blank!! Thought on standby, squeez sqeeze still no response...panic for few secs.. ...tot cam pai liao....den look at ON/OFF switch...DUHH!!!! :sweat:

Anyways miss the first 20 or 25 secs only...but lesson learnt! hahah!!

Lol!!! :bsmilie: Wished they had that function in all current DSLR models. Use voice to activate to shoot. "Open!"..."Close!" "Zoom in!" Zoom out!"
