I would go for D2HS if everybody wasn't so hyped up about MP. 4MP is sufficient. But 6MP, 12MP is easier to market. You know what I mean.

at the end of the day it boils down to how much you are able to crop when you want certain details ... so at times, megapixel count is important

Not me.. my style is not cropping style, infact, I never crop my images. I believe in WISIWYG.

MP is impt only if I intend to blow big, but max I always do is S8R. So....

as espn said, cropping in-cam beats croppin in PS any time. saves time too.

however, i'm sure there are situations where cropping is inevitable. like our nature shooting frens. MP helps. so far, i dun hear the D2h bird/nature shooters complaining abt their image quality after cropping in PS. :)

Cos notice that the D70's resolution per shot is 300dpi ... that's why ... more dots per inch ... so definitely no problem ...canon is 180dpi .... KM is 72dpi

Oh forgot to add, flash77, those are really good shots u have there. Guess your keeper/success ratio would def. go up if you have a D2H or equivalent.

sigh.....decision time....good shots...

Never expect to get good feedback from experience bird photographer and G***.
Was my maiden soccer attempt.

Garion, now really tempted to see if the D2H 2nd hand really a worthy investment or not... have to think hard. :dunno:

nw, you know my standard lor, newbie standard who still need to ask you for aperture and shutter speed setting, maybe investing on a D2H is more worthy of a jump for D70 newbie.

Dun think they have to crop that much lar....coz most of them using long lens (i.e. 500/600mm w/ TCs). Having higher MP does have advantage in that you can crop, thats what I do to abt 70-80% of my nature shots. Sometimes bo pian, lack of super long lens and subject appear so small in the picture...

Mass O*** tonight.

I just had a chat with my contact at the agency. Would you guys be interested in a 3 hour outdoor shoot, 2 hour casual, 1 hour bikini, 6 slots, each paying S$35?

If so, can either pm me or put (interested) after your name in the list below or add on to the list and I'll see what I can do.
