Regarding the 20D, I think its a good upgrade from 10D if you don't really need the features of the 1 series bodies. The output is cleaner and I dunno how to put it, very sharp and detailed, the 10D always seems a little soft out of cam, even with primes. Guess u r right, its the resolving power of 8mp packed into the sensor.
