ok. tell your friend to write a FR for the hotel. Looks good, maybe can stay there for the next trip

Looks like it is raining elsewhere but AMK is so warm. Now on the aircon bus, on my way home.

I don't mind.

Dammed! I've to connect my PC through the LAN cable now.
Out of the blue, my Buffalo wireless router can't connect to my Max online cable modem! ;(

I've attempted diagnosed my router, seem pretty ok....
Don't tell me Starhub did something to their network setting...

is your modem still connected to your router and to the pc? or are you directly connected from your pc to the modem?

The wireless router used to be connected to my modem.
but now, I'm directly connected to the modem via LAN cable.

Called star hub and the answer is we don't support Buffalo, we only support linksys.... #$%^$%#%

but you used to be able to use it, so it shouldnt be the modem`s problem. try another modem to try it out?

Seems like everyone is on a modem issue these few days.

I personally suspect that the service provider did some firmware upgrade/setting which somehow resulted in my Router from accessing the net....
