HDD cannot read :cry:
Luckily I always copy my CF into my PD70x, so photos are still around.
But those edited half way are gone, gotto redo.
Also my inbox mails and other info are gone :cry:

I once handled a Maxtor HDD that had to RMA 2 times! ;(
After that, I only use either Hitachi or Seagate (Which I trust most) :thumbsup:

Maxtor I still have one, it's alive in the office, been using it since 4 years ago, moving it from office to office. Actually all by luck lah.
That time I also copied files from CF into my portable storage, then found out that it suddenly become a "not-formatted" HDD!!!! Blur man!!! 8GB worth of morning shots MIA somemore CF card cleared and re-written!!!
How the card still write to the HDD when it's not-formatted, I really don't know...

this is my 2nd Maxtor that died on me. Never going to touch it again.
Same as you... will go for Hitachi or Seagate only. Just bought a Hitachi

they still selling max brand...just like mobil and esso....
now got a lot of other makers liao. was blurred last mth when i went to SLS to get a spare 2.5" hdd...
just keep out of it lor. later kenna f****d by the protagonists for no good reason. :sweatsm:
