I though it's $10.70? All the while I have been turning down Minolta lenses and advise the users to send their lenses to service center instead.

Can. But I think they will treat your cam as no warranty if it's not SG warranty.

You might also need to ask if they charge extra for a non-sg product.
I checked the Sony sg site and they made no mention of it but Sony msia's site does.

Doesn't sound right. Did you adjust the settings after your night shoot?

There's no problem. I thought it's cheap to send the lenses to CSC so I usually ask them to inquire at CSC first.

could it be that you have greasy aperture on ur lens?

i sent my camera for calibration and sensor cleaning..it took sony 2 days to complete..and cost me 40+sgd..hope it helps =)

Calibration will be required if you have front/back focusing issues with your lens.

i brought my camera n lenses to korea recently..and i realise that pictures taken using my 50mm F1.4 r 70% OOF-ed(cz1680 99% on target..not sure whether its bcoz the DoF is deeper or the lens its ok =p )...so i suspect either its my camera or lens having prob..so just pass to them both lo...so after sony pass back my stuff to me..i test it..so far nv see any photos OOF anymore...they told me they re-calibrate it..but im not sure they r referring to my camera or lens..haha =p
