ask that senior to shut up in this case. respect need to be earned, respect is not bestowed when the senior reach puberty.

once, the ppl in the Mac User Group Singapore, shouted 'go google or make a search', i quit. switched to discussions.apple.com; good move! those guys there are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and lastly, won't shout at you to 'go google or make a search'

If you actually read threads about such comments, you would really realise that those questions have actually been asked COUNTLESS times before. Sometimes even on the same page. Those TS just didn't bother to read or bother to look up those similar topics to get some idea before they just simply typed out a query which REPEATS itself over and over again in the forum.

For those who needs technical help or advise on techniques, when has any of the senior members or other members laugh or ignored them if we know about it?

most of ur senior members already earned their respect through their works and their constructive comments. imagine next time the ppl now asking qns gonna be the very ppl leading ur kids. u sure u want them to not be independent?
