Hi Guys & Gals,

Went to the DragonBoat Races at Singapore River Regatta 2008 yesterday.

Had an amazing time. I took 459 shots in 2 and a half hours. A new personal record for me. But only managed to look at and crop only a handful.

What do you guys think of the photos ? I managed to get a good location and my 70-300G lens performed very well. It was more than worth the $120 I paid for it :rbounce:

Little Canon users here, and I would love to know how to use flash as well. Chim. But I think basically the terms should be the same.

I used this lens. According to Nikon, they are discontinued (CLICK Here). I got it 2nd-hand from a fellow CSer.

Yes Derek... I was sitting at the steps. Beside me got 2 more shooters. One using Canon, the other using Nikon. The Canon guy uses a "white" lens. The Nikon guy uses a telezoom attached to a teleconverter (WOW !!)

Hey guys, need to ask your opinions. I want to buy a camera but i can't choose between the d90 or the d300. Any tips guys? I've read the other threads on clubsnap but I still can't decide between the both of them. I'm afraid that the d300 is too pro for me leh. So your opinion guys?

If you're feeling too rich, you can go for the D300. But I have to say the D90 is a very very capable body, and I would go for D90 or even D80 for the substantial savings, spend them on better lens. That is if you just started Photog.

That's my take.

is it true that i should get camera bodies with larger diameters? cuz the newer cameras all use lenses with larger diameters now. :S
