1)EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM
2)EF 50mm f/1.8 II

maybe u all can help suggest some substitudes as well?


cos i really have no idea... dilema...

BUY!! BUY!! BUY!!!

The EF28-105 is a great bang-around lense.. very hardy and very good. Actually if you have the budget to spare, get the 28-135 IS USM.. much better.

The 28-105 give me very good pictures and colour's good too. my personal favorite and standard gear if I were to go out with only ONE lens.

The EF50 f1.8 is good, 55mm thread alittle noisy but a good lens for lowlight conditions and protraits due to it's "bokeh-ness" or DOF. Again, if you have the $$$, get the EF50 f1.4 USM... heehee.. that one power liao... quiet, fast and good!

See you at SEED. i may be bringing my gears down so if you are there, I can let you have a hands on :thumbsup:

if me buy the 28-135 and the 50mm f1.4... then i will prob lose 10kgs in the next months.... hahaha
