Hi Dagger,
thanks for the help. Approached the staff at the Studio section and they gave me the price as stated. Although Chris was busy, but still managed to buy the tripod. My guess is the CP at Peninsular is less edgy towards prices unlike Marina Sq as it is situated where floods of tourists are not rare at all.
