Search function does not work 100%?

Hiya,

Not sure if I am the only one with the problem. For example, when I perform a string search on "crumpler" & option search entire post, somehow, the list of threads return does not really show all threads with the string "crumpler". Manual search in the forum does yield some additional threads that did not show up in the search list. :think:

Is the search performing as intended, ie does not return 100% of the threads? Appreciate if any mod can advise.

I believe it may be due to the forum indexing service. Its not running all the time , thats why you may not find some of the latest thread being indexed.

I will check with Edmund for more information. Thanks for the report.
