Did they release the price for the x2 ?

Dalsa might be the source. They did supply a monochrome sensor to PhaseOne.

Thanks. This is still an educated guess right ? Or it's confirmed somewhat ?

Wow...the Hermes set is so beautiful...:hung:

Not meaningful as normal 50mm F2 is excellent already. Not value for money. But then it is probably made for people who buy personal jet planes and private yachts. For those people, it is a statement "Woh Oo Lui". No doubt the PRC-new-rich must have it to show by next Chinese Lunar New Year 2013.

This video is really poisonous! Not for the weak wallets !

What an absolute CON Leica are for charging USD $1950 for their new Lens adaptor "LEICA S Lens Adaptor-H" So what if you can put a Hassy Lens on the S Camera..... NO ADAPTOR is worth or even Justified at that price !!!

GOLD !!
Leica S-Adapter H

LEICA are so up themselves these days it's not funny.... get of your throne !!!

Hasselblad H lenses are made by Fujinon, unlike Hasselblad CF lenses (for 503 series film models) that were made by Carl Zeiss, Germany.
Whether one wants to put a Fujinon on a Leica is a personal decision. I would not want to. If Carl Zeiss, maybe.

As to price of the adapter. This is subject to price theory. Some things have to be very expensive or else you cannot sell them. If golf club memberships are $1, and everyone can afford it, then many of the people playing golf today would give up the game; because it is not longer very expensive and cannot serve the purpose of defining their exclusivity.

If I were in the market for a Leica 50mm, I would get the Summicron APO over the Summilux or the Noctilux. Price wise, I don't believe that it is unaffordable going by how people can buy into the M9 in the first place. It may be expensive to many of us, but going by how often Leica lenses are out of stock, I would consider their lenses as underpriced. If there is anyone here who cannot see my logic, just think of COE, COV or useless diamonds you buy. If you have paid for any of the three, you can buy the new Summicron APO.
