This is a digital blend pano from two different times during the shoot - the skies were shot just after the sun has set (around 6.55pm), and the foreground buildings were shot during the blue hour when the lights were on (around 7.10pm). Each frame of the 6-tile pano was shot and blended manually before stitching.
I used a Lee 0.6 hard grad for the skies, stacked with a Lee 0.6 soft grad for sky gradation. That way, the entire dynamic range of the scene can be recorded without the need for more exposures to be blended in, thus only two shots were needed for each frame of the pano - one for the sunset skies, and another for the blue hour building lights.
Sometimes I wonder, why am I still doing this? Then I realise, I still have a long way to go, and much to learn. The world is vast, its beauty ever-inspiring.
I can only hope to do justice to its sublime beauty.
Alas, this would be my final upload here. I've grown weary, and I sincerely apologise. I'd like to also thank all the long-time supporters for viewing and commenting, your words are greatly appreciated. You know who you are.
