Recently, I had the privilege to beta-test Haida's new slot-in full neutral density (ND) filters. A review of their 10 stop and 3 stop filters could be found in the review section here.

This particular shot was done with their 10 stop and 3 stop filters stacked for a combined strength of 13 stops. The colour cast was indeed very manageable, and way more neutral than the Lee Big Stopper I currently own. You can check out the comparison here on my Facebook page here.

Punggol's ever-changing urbanscapes makes for interesting subjects.

This was again taken with the new Haida 10 stops, stacked with a Lee 0.6 GND for sky tonality.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

I had to find Stefan's tripod holes to shoot this scene.

Electric Circuitry

'Electric Circuitry' was selected as the top winning entry for the recent APEC contest. Also very happy that this is the first time a photo from Singapore was picked by the judges to be in the top three winning entries. A Silent Scream

I did pick up the bottle and threw it away. Those who know where this was taken from, kindly keep it to yourselves. Much human traffic has inevitably brought much trash to this once beautiful, untouched part of rustic Singapore.

Title was inspired by Ragstatic's shot: www.flickr.com/photos/rags1969/1437285248/

the bottle looks out of place for me in an otherwise good shot.

I left the bottle there to showcase the environmental impact of human disturbance in our last few remaining natural seascapes. Might not be to everyone's taste, I agree, but not everything in life is clean and beautiful.

Phantasm

Always wanted to shoot at this part of Bishan, but it was kinda out of the way from where I lived. However, the sun's position for this scene is optimal at this time of the year, so why not.

This morning was a little misty too, so I refrained from bumping the contrast too high as that would spoil the effect.
