congrats, well deserved with many winning shots in this thread. Keep up the great work!

Thank you, Wonglp! I'll try to update this thread as often as schoolwork would allow me to. Haha!

Congrats! is that a fish-eye shot? captured the patterns in the sand beautifully!

Thanks, Stuck! It's just a normal wide-angle shot with a Tokina 11-16. The shore was really curvy, that's all!

Grats Scintt, certainly a worthy shot, nice!

Thanks, Zichar! ;)

Congratulations, Scintt! :) Well deserved. Keep shooting!

Thanks, WK. Appreciate it much! :D

7xp HDR, tonemapped for realism. The sun was too bright for me to shake the black card quick enough, hence I fell back on the trusty ol' HDR.

The sunset was rather dramatic today after the torrential downpour, resulting in quite a spectacular 'orange hour'.

Black card technique; 25s for foreground, 10s for sky. Single-exposure; not a blended/HDRI/GND-filtered image.

Actually wanted to go out for a shoot but bcos of the heavy downpour decided to stay home. When I looked out of the house and saw the orangy hue sky after the rain I knew I have missed some good shots. Well done ! Great shot at the right time right place :)

Yesterday's 'orange hour' at its most intense. I had to keep myself from going overboard with the saturation levels.

Black card technique; 30s for foreground, 20s for sky. Single-exposure; not a blended/HDRI/GND-filtered image.

The ones with different colours are merged in-camera. :) I used a torchlight with coloured filters, capped with a diffuser to make the effect more 'wisp-like'. Thanks for dropping by again!
