hi, i refer to your photo "32. Chinatown Overview(Colour)".
Just wanna ask a very noob question. Is this a HDR blended photo?? And also how did u manage to make all the buildings esp the Fu Ya Shi building looks so 'Stand out' and 'Logo' lookalike feel?? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for asking. Nope, the photo you mentioned isn't HDR-blended. It's just a wide-angle panorama. The afternoon sun that day helped to make the whole scene very contrasty, that's all! :)

hi Scintt
most of yr pictures are taken with what lens ?
i'm looking at the Tokina 11-16 and Nikkor 10-24, not sure if its ok to invest in it.

Hey there, sorry for the late reply. Both lenses are great choices. I picked the Tokina because it has a good price to output quality ratio.

Where shall I go?
To the left where nothing is right?
To the right where nothing is left?

Now in colour.
Another rendition.

I must say, I prefer the color version. The BnW just isn't as interesting, because the palette goes nicely together here.

I know I suggested a tighter crop earlier, but somehow the sky isn't as interesting. The best case scenario in retrospect might have been to place the bottle nicely on the thirds (which incidentally here, would have been the part where the top layer of clouds ended)... But then again, with long exposures, it is not so easy to predict. Cheers!

Hey, thanks for your suggestion. I was deliberating between the colour and B&W versions for quite a while, so I figured I'd post both. Now I kinda like the coloured one more; the bottle seems to stand out more.

Good concept!

Thanks Thomas! :)

This is quite unique. A little deconstructivism.

Hi, very nice photos u have. May I know from which bldg location (floor) did u shot pic 187 188 ? I was scouting around the buildings around that area but can't seem to have access to the vantage point u took these 2 shots.

Thanks :)

Just saw ur reply for #188. Was #187 also shot from level 5 high st centre ?

Oh...I saw the window louvres on level 4/5 car park but did not know u actually shot thru it. Thought it was like some roof top access. Thanks for the info :)
