I have no wish to start a debate as in teaching at which level is the most challenging of all but I suppose it's safe to say that when a teacher has a bad day, he/she is inclined to feel that must be the worst kind ever encountered ...

Chem tmrw. Anyone can give a crashcourse on atomic structure and chem bonding? I can't figure out how to explain why something is more soluble or has higher boiling point than the other.

solubility is due to how similar intermolecular forces between the 2 substances are.

boiling point differences are due to VDW, pd-pd, H-bonding and how big the molecules are.

hmm... but i'm not sure if thats the right way to answer such questions though. haha.

I'm having chem tmr too, but luckily its only about 3 chapters... wee

u should have see the guy infront of me ... he started stoning with like ... 45 minutes till paper finish ... and the strictest (and best) physics tutor walked by and tugged at his paper ... took it and flipped through ... the guy was like :faint: :hung: lolz ... then the physics tutor started smiling evily ...

of course he passed him back his paper lah .. but the guy infront of me didn't make any changes ...

Eek. sounds bad. >< My friend slept halfway thru physics. I kena shocked, thought he finished his paper so fast. Then after tt when the paper was collected the teacher thought he handed up a blank paper....
