Nice time. All my early-morning shots all gone case, but I had a fairly nice time at the edge of the shore at low tide

What happened? Is it the overcast sky killed all the shots?

Couldn't get correct focus, and when I did, photos turned out blurry still. Forgot to switch off SSS while on tripod
