vrboska is a small town that is usually a daytrip location but we "nua" here for 2 days. despite of that, the hot weather kept us from going out, and we spend some time rather in the house or the nearby forested path. but i would say this place deserved more exploration given a better weather. there is nice buildings and nice reflection, though i didn't get the effect i wanted from one of the pictures i saw (i wonder if that picture is taken from a boat becos i can't find the vantage point when i walk and look about)

Zoossh, you are getting better! You're carefully selecting & posting your pics so slowly that I'm complaining
May i know if any filter was used for pic #20 or processed? It is beautiful.
#19 is lovely.
actually, i've been slow due to work commitment plus i find that my current series is not too well pieced together. in a way, i do not travel with an active intention of seeking photos that linked in a series. that will require active search for subjects and meanings that are consistent in a few factors and differs in a few factors, which some people who are more focused do. so, now i'm selected one picture at a time, process, post, wait for criticisms. i tend to prefer to space out my still life, portrait, scenaries, but i find that i cannot find matching palette between pictures, somehow.
there is better handling of indoor low light on D90, but compared to D50, i have greater discrepancy of my picture in adobe photoshop versus the output. i also have increased color banding problem on D90. i may need to go back and rework on some of them. i find the colors of #21 unnatural, but it is always a bit sian to return to the same work...
#20 have a 2 stop GND, grad part cover the sun too.
and thanks dino and billy.
Your series are really like those Drama Series...we have to wait for the next episode week after weeks.
I am thinking that I am not going to look at your thread until 6 months later on...but then...season 2 might come out and I have to wait again.
I think you have been too heavily influenced by Korean's Drama series.
P.S. can i find a pirated completed season somewhere ?
Thanks for sharing Zann's website - she has amazing photos, many of which tell stories that we probably don't know. What an impact her photos had on me.i dun really go after their drama, some... but not really after them. maybe you check once a month, that would be good. i just find it a pity that a lot of excellent amateur photographers are also busy with work and do not really post their pics (ppl whom i met or saw their pics on print). nonetheless great pics such as the recent thread on santorini just blew me off. recently saw some printed photographs on an exhibit, just jaw drop and almost fall in love with the photographer without knowing who she was (oh well, that could be a man too, who knows... nowadays all the new english names are so alien to me).... but she is so good that after self learning, she went pro overseas as a photojournalist

click on 2nd pic. that's hers... the print even look more fabulous...

inspired by shiang han, i did some photomanipulation and converted one of my snapshot and make a christmas
tree out of it. em... dun worry, just experimental, so just one - you can hate it.
For this particular photo though, I don't think that the edges are defined clearly enough, maybe a bit more edge brightness? Was it raining and a night shot?
And if you want to control the brightness and thickness, you can use multiple layers of the image with different settings of the glowing edges filter and layer mask them to suit your taste. (Of course that's only if you are inclined to experiment more.)![]()
