Behind Heeren Shopping Mall? But the address is The Heeren..

Wah....receipt? I don't really keep the receipts for 4pcs of $14 AA batteries leh.

Any chance of replacement for those who have no receipts?

For receipt thing, maybe can check with the PIC?

I changed mine without producing any receipts but that was sometime last month. No harm trying. Perhaps you might want to call them up first.

My replacement batteries are great! They don't fully discharge as fast as before and still have juice 2 weeks later after charging.

no receipt for my Sanyo's already.... but my current FujiFilm 2500 batteries are damn good.

i managed to change 10 out of 24 sanyo on last friday. they didnt asked for receipt. was wondering about how did they test for "charge retention"?

I've got unopened 2 blister packs (4 pc pack) of Sanyo 2500 batts. Bought it almost 2 months ago... Will they be able to identify if these packs suffer from the fast discharge problem?

:Later,

You have to Fully charge the battery before they can check it for u.:)

Is this a problem with the Sanyo Ni-MH 2500AA Batteries only or it applies to the Sanyo Ni-MH 2100 AA & Ni-MH 2300 AA etc as well?

Can ask about those without receipts?

Quick discharge problem affects the 2500 mha batteries only.

And it only affects certain batch not all.

Even batteries from the faulty batch maybe OK

So unless you have tried them you will be unable to tell if they are faulty.

:)

Oh, I just changed mine yesterday. Went to See Heather.

They told me to fully charge the batteries before heading down.

On the spot, they took my 20 batteries to test (but i really wonder how they test it).

After about 10 - 15 mins, 12 of my 20 batteries were replaced.
No receipt needed. Only need to fill in a form on the spot with all the batteries serial no.

Changed mine at 1pm today. They insist you charge the battery before bringing it over. No receipt required.

I have 4 newly purchase. The charge can't even hold for few minutes and I just couldn't stomach paying the trips to get it change. Probably for few additional $ on top of the trip, I could get 8 pieces of non Sanyo.

Thanks for the clarification.
Anyway, can't Sanyo identify the faulty batches? I find that odd. I bought 4 batteries, used the discharge / charge function and it works well the next day. Have not tried testing whether if there is any juice after 1 week of un-use though.
