They are out for lunch from 12-1. They operate 9 - 6 if I am not wrong

Yes, they are out for lunch from 12-1. but they operate at 8:30 - 4:30.:)

Is it only the 2500 batteries.. i bought some sanyo batteries recently but i think they are either 2100 or 2300... or 1800?? are these affected by the same fault?

Just call this Heather and got a VERY BAD service from her. I dunno if she is really irritated by all the calls being directed to her or what but they should have a roadshow or whatever thing to recall the products if Sanyo staff is that impatient to phone enquiries. Ask me to email for the enquiry while refuse to give me to email add. Ask me to search it by myself, excuse from her was I should be able to do it since I can have her number. Well, there is always a form call feedback form since I have her number and name.

From a very dissatified customer.

So did you email their feedback section to complain?

Yes, submitted the feedback form online, and going to email Sanyo directly. No wonder I don't have any other home appliances from Sanyo besides these stupid batt. $^&%%^%&

Anyway, this is the email add I got from her after I changed to tone from soft to hard.

Hope this help and if anyone got any updates, please post here.

Thanks a lot!

Happier in CS :-) (at least I am smiling now)

I got a totally pleasant experiece with Sanyo about the exchange of the batteries.

I called the number 2 days ago and they put me to customer service. I didn't ask for anyone specifically. The lady asked a few questions, my name and how many batteries I got so she can reserve for me.

I got them changed this morning. No receipt needed. Good service....:thumbsup:

Just went there this morning (just before their lunch time), no such experience of poor customer service.

I didn't see Heather, all I did tell the lady at the reception that I have Sanyo batteries with the quick discharge problem (I actually didn't know if my batteries were out of whack or not) and she asked me to fill in some form (that need info like date of purchase, where u purchased from, eqpt you use etc - all can smoke, no need to show proof of purchase) and took the batteries in for testing.

The testing took about 10-15 minutes and they replaced my faulty batteries.

The lady at the reception was polite throughout.

7 out of the 8 batteries I brought in were faulty!!!

I'd recommend anyone who has the 2500mAh batts to go to Sanyo to get them checked if you haven't done so.

hmmm...sorry to hear about unpleasant experiences u guys had with Heather or SANYO. I will feedback accordingly as I am still working closely with them to serve our wonderful community.

Cheers dudes ! :)

It happen to mine too; I thought Made In Japan should be safe but......

I've got unopened 2 blister packs (4 pc pack) of Sanyo 2500 batts. Bought it almost 2 months ago... Will they be able to identify if these packs suffer from the fast discharge problem?

:Later,

If yr batch is 04 then u better change; I got mine changed today, all are 04 batches.
Waited for fifteen min, no need ant receipt..:nono:

Eight of my 12 batteries were changed. The receptionist and technical staff were all friendly and helpful. I didn't need to call them to arrange for any appointments before showing up at about 1pm :D

Open on Sat?

Nope... closed saturdays & sundays... you'll have to be there latest 4:30 weekdays cos they knock off at 5.

wah..if I know sanyo got such problem, I should have avoided it straight away.
imagine selling such batt, and wasting everyone's time...

my batt is listed 03-05...meaning 2005 March? so shouldn't have any problem?
I just fully charge the batt, and going to Japan tomorrow!

Just got 14 of my 2500s changed. Service is pretty good. Didn't need to show any receipt or make any appointment, just walked in with the fully charged batts in hand.

Funny thing is 2 of the batts they changed were from a 05-06 batch that i bought in aug this year. Seems that the problem is quite widespread and doesn't just affect the 04-x batches. Just to play safe just bring all your 2500s along for them to test.
