It depends on the charger, whether the charger has individual circuitry for each of the batteries.

How to check for this?

i have 3 2300 batteries, they show red on my sanyo charger immediately after changing. I measured them to be between 6.8 to 7.5 mohm, but volt to be only 1 to 1.2v

think i need to send them but it's hard to find time as they only open on working hours, and izzit really worth it to take halfday to exchange for a set? (that cost only $16)

Read the features/specs of your charger.

Go up to the 2nd floor of Heeren and there is a doorway linking to the office building. Then take the lift up. Went there and it isn't that hard to find. If still unsure, just ask the staff @ the info counter! :D

Hi,

i have bought 4 ENERGIZER 2500mAH batteries recently and they lost the charge after a few days. it was said that these batteries were also OEMed by SANYO. so can i take my batteries to SANYO serive center to have a replacement? anybody has such experimence?

wah no wonder, i tot my new fuji camera got problem, so it's the battery ><

Anyone going down on thursday? I started charging mine right now

Just to share my experience.

Change my 12 batteries successfully without problems though I bought them in Sept last year and lost my receipt. Also the new batteries are great, so far so good, and my charger is meant for 2300 actually, so not fully charged.

i charged and drain and recharge my sanyo 2100 batts before my europe trip two weeks ago .. on reaching there my trusty GP 1700 batts took almost 350 pics before dying so i pop on my sanyo and guess what ,... it took ten shots or so and it is drained .. so does it means that it is not retaining batts too .. there was no problem if i use it striaght after charging ...

strange...i bought 8 of these 2500maH batteries (SLS selling $16 for pack of 4).
charged them up , put them into my trusty computer astronomy telescope and used it for almost the whole night before they konked on me...
are they really so bad? i thought sanyo should be a good brand as compared with gp which is a hong kong product...

Apparently it was mentioned in another thread that the charger plays a part as well. If you bought a charger which comes along with the 1700mAh, maybe it cant fully charge a 2100mAh since it was built for the 1700mAh.

Maybe can read up on these links.

btw, I saw the GP 15min charger specs like not bad leh. Charges the batt in 15min at 7000mAh  . It can charge up to 75% of 2500mAh in 15min and then it trickle charges. Somemore still have inbuilt ventilation fan, so the battery wont chao dar. Anyone using it?.Care to share whether its good? :gbounce::gbounce::gbounce:

bought the 15 mins Sanyo quick charger. apparently, have problems charging all my 12 x 2100 sanyo batts. these 2100 batts is also facing the same problem as the older batch of 2500 and worst still cannot be charge using the 15 mins Sanyo quick Charger, circuit auto shut down.

no problem with the 2500, 1600 and GP 750 batts using the 15min charger.

see the problem is not the charge i got the maha big big charger too .. no problem with the GP but with Sanyo ones really disappointing even for the 2300 series ...

i am using the 1 hr GP charger for the 2500 batteries. They charge ok...no issue.
As to how long the charge last, I don't know how to measure it...anyone has a suggestion?

the problem not only confined to the 2500. its the 2100 onwards. don't have problems with 12 x 1600 both sanyo n GP, 4 x GP750 AAA. Only after i bought the batt tester realised all the 2100 are problematic.

Time to change another brand ba?.
PowerEx 2500mAh coming in soon at EG. ALways hear ppl comment tt its a good batt.
Anyone know whether GP chargers can charge Powerex Batts? I feel that powerex chargers still too slow to charge up batteries. any comments?:dunno:
