Sandisk UltraII SD card warranty?

Hi All,

I bought this 256mb UltraII SD card less than 2 years ago at Funan. But now it stops working (can't read by any of my card readers or camera, can't even reformat ) .

I don't have the receipt anymore, but I'm the card is still within warranty (should be life time warranty, but was told only 5 years here in Singapore). Do you think I still can get the card fixed (or most likely, exchanged)?

Anyone has similar experiences before?

Your info will be very appreciated.

Okay. I've got the phone number of the vendor of Sandisk product, called them up, was informed that all Ultra II CF/SD cards sold in Singapore have LIFETIME WARRANTY As long as you have the original receipt (or a copy will be fine too). Went there this afternoon and got my card exchanged without any problem. BTW, I only brought the copy of my receipt (which got lost long time ago).

From now on I'll only buy Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme cards which have LIFETIME WARRANTY. It's just one time thing, well worth the extra cost.

Yes, that's the one. Went there yesterday to have my 256mb Ultra II SD card changed without any problem. Good service I must say.
