Took a morning train from Tsurumi (somewhere in Kawasaki, just south of Tokyo) to Sanrio Puroland in Tama City in the outskirts of Tokyo.

There are 2 Sanrio themeparks in Japan. Sanrio Puroland is the more popular one since it's near Tokyo but it is pretty small and is entirely indoor.

The other one called Sanrio Harmonyland is a much bigger and is an outdoor themepark in Oita in Kyushu (southern Japan). Harmonyland is quite difficult to go to and you would need to do abit of research on trains and bus schedules to the park.
I have already been to Sanrio Harmonyland back in Feb 2012.
Here's my entry for that particular visit.

747) Arrival at Tama City in the outskirts of Tokyo. There's a cute map located just in front of the Keio and Odakyu's Tama Center station.

751) Walking from the station to Puroland. About 5mins walk.

752)

753) Cute shopping mall just in front of Puroland (you should be able to see Puroland in this pic, at the background)

754) Sanrio Puroland

755) It was about 5mins before the park opens.

756) Admission rates. The 4400yen rate includes the admission price + all the rides and admissions to attractions and special performances in the themepark. The cheaper 3000yen rate consist of just the admission price. If you want to go to the rides and attractions and special performances, you have to pay extra when you are inside the themepark. There are also free performances so not all are payable. I got the 3000yen ticket at just 2700yen by using a discount coupon I printed from Puroland's website.

757) Admission ticket, Park map, Performance schedule
