It will be great if I can use my F-mount lens. Else I am thinking of just using it as a 50mm lens with a camera

If not available locally to much a hassle to bring it in.

And I think most my nikon lens will have problem programming aperture right? I have the afs 50mm, 105mm VR and 14-24mm.

Yes, you can only shoot using the A/S modes with these lenses.


If you have the AFD lens then you can make use of the aperture ring ........

portability. To me the NX10 mounted with 30mm if light and easy to carry around. Makes you want to bring yoru camera out.

An it is a F2.0 lens. With it comes the benefits (thin DOF) and problems (thin DOF)......

Samsung renders ridiculously sharp images. :thumbsup:

that's why I don't like to take pictures of myself with this camera.

You can get 43mm UV at Alan Photo and Harvey Norman at Funan Centre, and Alex Photo (next to Cathay Photo) at Peninsular Plaza. Other shops are likely to have them too.

i don't mind the gathering, but can maybe make it later afternoon? and maybe if more people.../.seems like really not many people using samsung, kinda feel we are like the left out bunch, had a feeling that had i made the wrong choice of brand as the community using it is really small...haha

I checked that Alan photo at Funan does not have the 43mm. Cathay photo also dun have.

I did not think to check Harvey Norman or Alex photo.

got a 43mm from mscolor for $12

BUT somehow after mounting the filter, the lens cap looks out of place and protruding. Very ugly. I think the 43mm thread is smaller than the actual width of the 30mm lens.
