Try it out @ Cathay or MS. I tried out there 1st before deciding.

go to shops like Cathay Photo or MS color if you want to try out lenses. confirm have the 30mm macro.

I got mine from a new shop called SLR Revolution at Funan just last week. Having loads of fun with it. I am beginning to think that this lens will compete for a lot of time on the camera with my CZ16-80. :thumbsup:

I just bought my A330~!! so happy~! BUT!!!! I wish I kept my STUUUUPID BIG MOUTH SHUT!!!

at Sony IMM, it was selling at $1199 with 2 lens. When I went Jurong Point Sony, it's $1099 and my stupid big mouth.. I asked the staff why is it different price... and he went checked and said they made a mistake and it's supposed to be $1199.................................

Do you think he would hv realise it when i pay if i nvr mentioned it????

Anyway, it was a better deal at Jurong Point. At IMM, purchase with purchase, the $120 battery cost $45. At JP, free battery! so happy. And they free a pretty nice tripod as well. I just wish I kept my mouth shut. STUUUUUUUUUUPIDDDDD.

I tried the 50m18 lens, sooooo cool n pretty. They have the macro lens too. I tried and liked it. But didn't buy in the end. Will explore the 2 lens first, since there's no discount for lens during the sales, no difference buying it now or later.

Though too late too say it, you could have gotten a much better deal from MS Color or Cathay Photo.

oh i hv checked at cathay. $80 cheaper. sony free a battery, retail price is $120. so i think it's worth it n so i just bought it there loh.

OMG!!! U should wait for the a550, its going for 1299 for 1 kit lens and is alot better than a330!!!

yes, street price is cheaper to both lens n bodies

My copy is made in China, as was my former DT 18-70/3.5-5.6, DT 50/1.8.
