Hmm.. are you guys referring to Philip Ng.. the D&T teacher? or is it another guy?

All I know is that the D&T Philip Ng aka Cricket Teacher-IC has always given us students the impression of a wacko.

Did anyone catch the SAJC - ACS(I) Rugby Final on Monday? The only pics I've seen were taken by some AC photographer

Btw, was from the '93-'98 SAJS and '99-'02 SAS batch. Missed out on SAJC by 1 point :(

Up & On!

That's a pity. I thought Ms Charles promised all SAS Class of '03 a place in SAJC as long as we had 20 points or less and we chose SAJC as first choice.

Rawr~ just came back from School Cross Country run @ Bedok Resevoir.. boring place to run =/

Regarding the pics.. you can check SaintsDYK and http://redsports.sg/ =)

Oops, typo there on my part. Should be '99 - '02 :bsmilie:

Oh BC did that? Guess I was born 1 year too early haha

thats very generous of BC. But i guess its good in some ways. During my term in SAJC, most of my fellow peers were from SJI and ACS. So they kinda diluted the roots that we have in SAS. Quite a pity, entire SAJC, only 20+ SAS students who made it.

Perhaps we were playing too much in SAS. :) Sorry, maybe I should correct that. We were always playing and never studying!

Just got an update from SaintsDYK that Mr Harry Ho has passed away this afternoon. :(

Harry Ho? never heard of him... Harry Tan... different story altogether

Hey fellow Saint here :D good to see the school spirit dude :D And I like your shots too, nice colour and quite clear :D

Omigosh...now then I pick up this thread...

Ex-saint here...1980-1983. Venn house.

RIP Mr Harry Tan. I remember you so well.

Mr Harry Tan's funeral is tomorrow (9th Aug; National Day) at 11am, Church of Ascension (next to basketball court / Boarding house; at the top of the hill in SAV secondary side). The hearse will depart to Mandai sometime after that. Anyone is allowed to come to pay their respects. I'll be serving as a photographer.

If possible, do let us take a look at the photos for those of us who are unable attend the funeral.

Mr Harry Tan will be missed. He was a fatherly figure to all....

Alright. I will have to seek permission from the school and most importantly Mr Yee Teck Peng whom I offered my services to. If he allows the uploading of pictures, some of my pics should be placed in the SaintsDYK email newsletter.

Damn, I just came to know of Mr Harry Tan's passing when I spoke to 2 young Saints... I'm deeply sadden...

Mr Tan taught me Add Maths during my time in St. Andrew's (1981-1984). I especially liked his speeches, they are so inspiring! I will always remember some of his anecdotes ad rhetorics, I'm still drawing inspiration from them and imparting them to my son.

RIP Mr Tan, I know you are with in Paradise with God right now. :)
