If it's true then it's really really sad.
In this day and age where most of the newer cams pack a punch in megapixel , resolution, noise, they still fall apart in terms of tonality and dynamic range.
Still nothing gives me close to that 'film' look other than fuji dslrs sighh

My information was actually obtained through word-of-mouth from a staff member of Fujifilm Singapore. The mother company in Japan will be focusing on developing prosumer and consumer range of digital cameras.
