took this on vesak day, when i was out on an Objectifs-organised shoot. ;p

straight from cam. Av-mode, ISO100 with a 17-35/f2.8. i believe this was shot on Std Mode, 400%DR.

i remember the 1st day i bought the D200 and used it to shoot some landscape photos.

the colour shocked me and to be honest, i was disappointed with the colours. no matter how hard and how vigorously i tried to edit and correct, i cannot get it to be as nice and as sweet as my old S2Pro landscape photos.

since then i've got used to the D200 colours, sadly. anyone would like to share their S5Pro's beautiful photos in this thread?

unedited, un-enhanced and un-pp photos. jus as native and raw as they are.
pls tell us ur settings for the fotos such as DR400%, RAW or JPEG and colour space, settings etc.

thank you in advance for sharing!

how can we get our nikon/canon camera to produce photos with colours like the S3pro?
i really like the contrasty photos of the s3pro

if nikon/canon can produce the colour & DR of a fuji SCCD, no one will be buying a fuji in the first place. Pro & con of every system, it all depend what you want in the system you choose.

Let me just add -
There are also those who think that having a S5 Pro or S3 Pro means they've got fantastic pictures out-of-camera..... but then you see pictures with no details in the shadows, and badly-blown highlights... taken in 400% DR.
:bsmilie:

There is also the school of thought that advocates shooting in RAW (on other brands) so that they can tweak to get the effects of the Fuji. That is a choice you make.

Other than that, let's keep this thread as per Cheesecake's request - limited to showcasing photos that bring out the best of the S5, shall we.

no problem azure! thanks!:)

Wah! No need to bracket my shots man. LOL! 400% DR is really tempting.

Decisions... decisions...
