I got a 799+5%GST for the S2 and a 256MB SD card quote from MS Colour.

And a 860 quote (with GST) for the S2 Parisilk.

Any better deals? Seem like the other free gifts have dried up.... Any lobang appreciated....

Have you tried Alan Photo ? Seems like some also got the AA batt charger, batt and card reader on top of the 256mb and bag from there. Correct me if I am wrong.....

i think the current promotion only has the 256mb sd card for freebies. i got mine yesterday from ms colours for $845.

How do you find the camera so far?

I had a S40 which i was very happy with until I left it behind in a kopitiam.

I had concerns with the size and weight when lugging around although S40 was quite a brick as well.

so far so good, judging from the few shots i took yesterday. no complaints about the image quality of the photos. i love the 0 cm macro and of course, the 12x zoom.

the size and weight need some getting used to coz i was previously using a compact sony s80, not to mention the controls. but it's just a matter of time.

Think of this camera like a mini-SLR. The size is larger than a Powershot S95, but you sure will have good grip of the camera as well accessing to the controls as well. If you are looing for some camera good for carrying ard, in your pouch...etc...this camera is still a bit too big. But if you use it for work purpose (especially for on-site) it will be gd, especially the AA Batt really could save lifes when you need them.
