Normal price $299. Worth it sure is....

I was give a sample to see some more and now no money liao otherwise sure buy......

IMO? the printer is more worth it than the 7-in-1 bag. its a real handy tool esp for those fun, informal pics with frens. the printer is small enuf to carry ard. ;)

i see the Force is strong in BlueBull, yes? :bsmilie:

Can the S2 be fitted with polarizing filters, UV filter, etc.? What is its thread size?

Got to get the adaptor first. Do not know how much it will cost or the thread size.

Just ot add: the SD card comes from Kingston.

Advised to format the card before using....

www.dcresource.com is expected to post its review on June 12. ( most likely June 13 Singapore time ).

I will read the review and would like to know the cons before buying this.

Work 4 Money = Extra Cash

earlier someone mentioned that the camera "Panasonic DMC-FZ5" is $200 cheaper than canon powershot S2 .

does that means the price is $860-$200=$660 ?

was rather keen on S2 but it's kinda on the pricy side . i would settle for FZ5
if it's $660 as reviews and the sampling night shots from dcresource was pretty good .

anyone can update the info on fz5 price ? SGD based that is

I think we are getting screwed in Singapore. The price  is just too ridiculous.

The US list price of the S2 IS is US$499, which is like S$835. (Obviously no one buys at list price. In US, Dell is selling it at US$350 + shipping.) The best price in Singapore is already higher than US list price.

As comparison, the Panasonic FZ5 also has list price of US$499 but can be found here at about S$650+ (not sure of latest price).

I would consider S$700+ to be reasonable street price for the S2.

I know there is free SD card and bag, but that's not worth S$200 (and many people won't need the 'freebies' anyway). I know I will eventually buy the S2 anyway, just not happy about the price.

wait few mths lor.. lets' say 2?? the price will go down more or less...
pricing could be on the high side, but considering the capability of this camera, which I believe may win the FZ-5, especially macro.. u can effectively put the lens like 5mm above the object and shoot it.. so.. think can save a bit more to get this ;)
