Think it's pretty cool how you gave the pics the framing and image pp of an old film pns. If you didn't say these were taken with an S5is, I would have thought you were using some old film cam :p

Thanks! I was actually going after an old film pns kinda effect. Photoshop does wonders :bsmilie:

I don't know if our S5 can support a variety of lenses. The only addon ones are the official Canon Wide Angle and Teleconverter ones? I can only think of the Raynox DCR250 which is superb for macro but you said you were into portraits and buildings so perhaps not feasible.

I believe there are third part lenses tho but I don't know their credibility.
Btw, I love the treatment with the round corners and vintage look. Do you happen to be a girl btw?

I'm flattered, but nope, I'm not a girl! :sticktong Thanks for the info! Btw, I'm a huge fan of your photos!

Edit: one more qn.. i only need to buy the lens right and i can just attach it to the camera or something? haha sorry kinda noob-ish at this.

You will need an adapter. The front size will depend on the lens you buy.

Some shots taken at Marina Barrage :)

I have never had really good luck with getting a nice and bright rainbow. Did you follow it to the pot of gold?

The adapter seems to be ever so elusive.
Of the couple of times i've gone down to funan and asked around, it always seems to be sold out >.>

Anyone knows where else i can get it?
>.<

The railway is near sunset way?(Clementi there i think, freaking near NP)

I not sure about that lol?

I mean, what's the big difference between the different sizes?

Can someone help me plssss? I just bought a wide len converter (not original Canon) for my S5. Tried it to shoot over the weekend and realised that the edges of the photo turned out to be blur. Not sure whether this is normal???:dunno: Is there any setting that I should adjust to make this work? Thanks in advance for advice.

Check out the first 3 photos taken with wide len here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=70749&l=ccbaa&id=536087773

Its probably the distortion of your WA lens. What brand lens and at which focal length did u use?

Even the Canon WA converter I had, doesnt gave a clear image when taken at the long focal length.

the blurring is quite bad. Most likely the converter. What brand?
And when using wide converter, don't zoom and take see how.
For settings, try change converter settings under Menu>Converter>.

You should never zoom past a certain focal length when using a WC. The focal length will depend on the camera lens and the WC itself. It is a WIDE converter, so stick to the wider end of your lens. Also, some of the cheaper converters are not good edge to edge, the picture will only look good in the middle part. Pay peanuts, get monkeys. This is why the Raynox converters are so expensive.

Ahh.... I know where it is. Have seen it from far away.

For the size, it depends on what accessories you have, like UV filter etc. Also, some of the lens converters come in different sizes. What do you plan to use the adapter for?

For the filter and macro lens XD.
I found the McGill thing on ebay though, think it's mentioned in a few posts on this thread before.
$70 for the 52mm Adapter + PL+UV filter.

Shall get the macro and telephoto when my wallet doesn't look like it's on a diet. : (

Some fun photos XD.
