Yah, I have the same feeling for cutting off the gown...but you know lah, I am not a fast shooter, most of the time I shoot still life....so cant really compose well under such short timing....will practise more. Thanks for the comment.

I reckon the reptile is behind a glass lah, if not you should have ran away...aniway, you can PP to make it better....but then again, you seldom do PP rite?

Good use of the zoom

I can never get a good shot of these guys, the sun is always shining through the trees behind them, so you tend to get the edges of their necks blown out.

Finally, a new photo from me.
Met tomlowct for lunch today, then went to the roof of his buliding to shoot some IR. Unfortunatly, only this shot came out nicely focused. Was using the chepo micro tripod provided by Canon. Really need to get a good mini tripod, my Manfrotto 190 is a bit heavy to carry around on the bus.

Does anyone know if S3 can do IR? I assume cerebrus used an S2? THe IR/UV thread has a list of cams capable of IR but I did not find S3 there.

S2 and S3 are similar.. only v. minute differences. so if S2 can do it, S3 is able to too..
