This is what I like. You can make the sharp point of the subject. #1 got my attention, because it looked just like the queen Nefertiti, but half eaten by corrose. #2 A picture from a centered point of view, but not like "cerebrus" likes, very nicely from just a bit from left angle. That made in this photo more flavour than just dull symmetrical block.
#4 Was also great. the thing that you took the roof of the house to play with the clouds of the sky is very impressing.

Hi Parta,
I think you have got it all wrong. I duno about how good you are a photographer......but we are all here to share our tots and feel. When we express our view, it doesn't mean we are right, but its just our feel. Photography is very subjective, just like abstract arts, there is no absolute right and wrong, what you like may not be what I like, agreed?
So those who post their pics here must be willing to take in C&C. Of course the C&C must not be personal attack. If you think you can only accept praises, then please indicate "Praises only" after your post.
By the way, the message above is also MY personal view here in this forum when come to C&C of pic. If anyone who will comment must be a proven expert, then the whole forum will be quiet like a dead cat. How many master photographers there are in this forum? And how many of them always have the same views and opinion?? None, this is because photography is subjective. Hope we can be more tolerance to each other like a mature adult.

I have been trying out the Raynox DCR 1540 Pro. Its quite good, no loss of light at whatever range I shoot at. I took some shots in town with it, will post some in Streets & Candids when I have time. 600mm handheld is quite amazing. Really gives you reach.

but a word to e wise guy, do show us ur pics. before u comment on one of our Sx users.. u see, we're all open to critics. it's wat helps us to improve on ur composition, settins and all.. wat each of us see as a nice pic. may be viewed differently by others. and so, we nid them to voice out wat they tink cld be improved and we take their comments into consideration, tryin to integrate them into e shot we attempt next.. as photographers, we nid to listen to others and improve. it's nt all abt. equipments and wat u tink is nice.. do u tink those earnin big bucks in tis field had had not their fair share of critics?
besides, cerebrus did not say his shots are e best.. like all of us here, he's still learnin too. and we help each other learn by givin critics and compliments.. at least he takes e effort to comment. unlike some who juz say 'nice shot!' (i'm not pointin at anyone here, juz an example).. so, do not make such a personal attack of someone in front of others. wld u like it if one of e shots u like was shot down by others eh? i personally find dat spider picture interestin after cerebrus told me wat e main focus was.. do u know wat it is? or izit juz another mere spider pic. to u?

Just got a used Tcon-17, will post some pics when i have time. Don't think it is better than 1540pro but for the price its a steal.
e colors for e second one is kinda dull.. even dat boat dere too. ha.. wld be better if e patch of leaves at e top right was gone. but havin been dere and attemptin to take such shots before, i know it's virtually impossible from such an angle..
