What DP said that a beginner must/should or know/have the fundamentals/basics before one talk about creativity. Creativity comes from inspirations and through observations. (IMHO)
Not many people can create images that can be hung in museum or exhibit in the gallery. These people are just wanna to play safe. Produce a nice photo for viewing.
What's wrong with boring photo then?
Experimenting is too, if it dwells into it and improve until satisfactory. Not today I post underexpose, for experiment only before you can get a good picture, tomorrow post an overexposed one again for experiement purposes. In the end, every photo is nothing but experimental photos.
Then ask again, are all C & C taken seriously or just for fun. Maybe should have a thread called "For your eyes only"......
Your good work may not be my good work. This will highlight to the photographer that the good work is not good enough so as to improve further. If you said this, I think you must be very wrong. Sometimes people will said, well actually what I posted is my lousy works, all the good works I don't post. So then, do you think you want to C & C on this type of work???
So as to why photogs can't show boring works???? Same, same .....
Not at all, but showing works which may ridicule the model is disrespectful.
To get job, doctor.... Some need to show people the works. They get calls or email from public.
That's the begining....it is up to them to take the next step. I can't just go to the university if I do not go through my primary or secondary or college education. Unless a genius, but how many of them, I wish I am one.
Yes, this I must agree. Mistakes are different from Naivety. If everyone thinks the same way, whats the point of people attending workshops, courses or even refer to reference books?
It is not ashame that you tell people you don't know that you made a mistake. But oftentimes people will just say, well actually this is just experiementing or testing, this I do not know how to classify.......
I give you Confucius for some Confusion
Those who are born with the possession of knowledge are the highest class of men. Those who learn and readily gain possession of knowledge are the next. Those who are dull and stupid, and yet manage to learn are another class next to these. As to those who are dull and stupid and yet do not learnthey are the lowest of the people.
But, he warned, Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous.
