There is always the market for "value" service. It is how one perceives the quality of the service.
I never knew this was how Singapore worked for the photography industry. Stunned.
When it comes to cost per image, it is thousands of pictures for hundreds of dollars... really kachang puteh rates.
Thanks for sharing your stories.
Oh, just to share with you my sister's fury. She hired a wedding shop, which in turn hired a freelance guy in this forum, who used a Fujifilm S5 Pro. The JPEGs were all off white balance (did not check ceiling/wall colour before bouncing the flash).
That's not the end. He kept taking photos of my sister's bridesmaids and kept the photo for himself :bsmilie:
I told myself not to get married after this incident, if not my future wife will kill me if something screws up
Well, it's laziness, mostly, and lack of experience and/or talent.
One photographic company had these huge machines which collected the photos, allowed the customer to select each photo and size it, and print. I doubt that they had time to get rid of the lousy photos and they challenged my being there at the same tournament. Their next-to-smallest photo was priced above my largest but I probably had more takers, though I was restricted from collecting money that day. :bsmilie: I'm surprised when they saw "Olympus" on the equipment that they didn't just laugh and walk away, so it was nice to me that they felt threatened.
I've seen it far too often, though. I'm sure professional sports in the U.S.A. all operate that way and you can often hear the click-click-click of burst mode on television.
Sorry if I sound arrogant. That's really not me. I just don't have time for posers yelling at me.
hahahaha! What kachang puteh lol!:bsmilie:
Uh huh... Go hire this guy for weddings then.

o_o I cannot believe that they would be so aggressive. Gosh!
Well, here's the latest posting rip from 43rumors.com
-------------------------------------------------------
(FT4) More E-5 specs….
New rumors about the E-5 do confirm the specs we posted few days ago:
Magnesium weather proof body
Dual memory card slots (not sure if CF+SD or 2xSD)
12MP sensor
11 AF points
6fps
Image stabilization
Anti-dust feature
Some kind of a rotating/tilting LCD display
HD video @ 720P with 30fps
Built-in wireless flash
100% viewfinder coverage
-------------------------------------------------------
Hm, 100% viewfinder coverage... How big is it?

So is it gonna be a E-1 type of body?
100% meaning that what your camera sees is what you get without suddenly having extra stuff inside, easier to compose, question is, how big is the viewfinder, whether or not its gonna be an E-1 body, no one can say for sure yet
The specs nothing spoecials, seems like E-3 specs only with extra HD video,6 FPS,12mp and dual memory card slots, if dual,I guess the logical thing would be CF and SD, though I hope its not 2 SD personally, the rest like I've said, seem so E-3
HD is nice to have but not needed for me, 12mp is good enough for me, 6fps kind of a let down, but I hardly shoot multiple shots,so doesn't matter, I'm more concerned of image quality and art filters and the supposedly unique feature not found on any DSLRs yet
You would hope that they've dropped the xD Picture Card permanently. Otherwise, people will be using the "xD" smiley on them for using it still.
Those specifications sound like a much cheaper body. You would hope that they'd go to a smaller body, finding a way to miniaturize the large auto focus, etc. that the E-3 had. Obviously, the SSWF dust removal system was miniaturized for the E-P* series and E-4x0 already. Of course, if you're going to have the SHG lenses mounted all day, you might want the extra bulk and weight of the E-3.
What about the "pro version" of the PEN? It exists, but it is not seeing the light of day...
Well said! But the E-5 has me jumping about in anticipation XD
*cough* I believe some whisper in the wind ever told me Oly has it planned for 2012.
Now, now... calm down before your neighbor complains of noise. :sticktong
Actually this specs is a leak for the new entry level E630. Oly scrapped the E30 line & combined it to this entry level. The E5 will be more superior than this, it'll have 14MP sensor & a new processing engine, ISO upped to 12800, besides video u get WiFi built in to txf pic/video files to comp, & the body is smaller than E3 with a new articulated 920k AMOLED screen for truer colors. Now u guys can "really" gauge the color from diff cams with their puny crappy in-cam LCD vs AMOLED.
Thats what my house cockroach told me HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
PS. Btw, whenever the pics turn out crap, its always the cam no good judging from the past 10+ posts or so.
My house lizard juz drop me another leak. The TruePic 6 engine is now considering taking up a new branding under the HEX prefix. The new E5 will have dual HEX engine to yield a burst of 12fps, no less.
If the leaked E-5 specs is really for the new 630, i just might get the 630... :bsmilie:
Pentax already has an el cheapo weatherproof body anyway.
