Ricoh GXR!

Many thanks again sanfong. I was at Cathay today, both the Leica 21mmf3.4 and the CZ 18mmf4 fit the A12 module. Now to decide which one.

Leica 21mm?? I dun believe in using Leica lenses on digital cameras. Get Voigtlander 21mm f4 pancake lens instead. As for 18mm u left with no choice haha... just my opinion. Go for it if the lenses are going to stay as long as u live.

Hi, can you share with me how much is the leica 21/3.4?

About $4,100+. The Zeiss 18mm f4 is $1,960. I just need a wide angle and my GXR system would be complete.

The pictures using Leica lenses on the GXR are pretty amazing, better than when used with my m43 and a viable alternative to film. Lenses stay with me - my oldest is an inherited 1961 Leica 50mm f1.4 while my oldest lens I bought personally is a 1971 Nikkor 50mm f2. Bodies especially digital get changed all the time though.

Looks like Pentax group is considering to invite us to merge since the distributor will be the same, i always like how pentax and ricoh forum here in clubsnap are very friendly, and not only talk about gears like some of the other brand grin... but also submitting nice photo and arrange warm outing. What do you think guys

Thanks for the link. Very interesting read.

I read test reports as an opinion. Most of the time, I draw my own conclusions by printing them in A0 sizes to see how good the camera+lens is. A bit old fashioned but I have been doing that for years, an old and expensive habit.

After using the GXR for 2 months, I love it - great photos and relatively easy to use even for a half-blind person like me.

I used my GXR + voigtlander 35mm f1.2 V2 for a while and I love it to bits... but I sold it away to fund my other purchase... now I'm beginning to miss it hahaha

That would be nice. You mean APDS will no longer be distributor or Emjay will also be a distributor alongside apds? Maybe should have another warm sunrise outing soon?

I just made a brief visit in Pentax threads. Emjay has transferred distributorship to APD.. many people sad about it cos Emjay has done a good job. I hope APD will buck up their CS.

Agree, and start dedicated thread under different module....this thread is so Rojas, GRD, GXR, A12/16 and M mount all mixed together..hard to follow...
