Ricoh GXR!

I went to Brooklyn bridge about an hour and a half (about close to 7) before sun down and the lighting was a lot less harsh than it was in the daytime. Took quite a few photos before the sun was mostly down, both with the OMD and the GXR. The 75mm/2.5 is a pretty sharp lens on 12MP. I can see why some suggest that landscape isn't just about wide angles, but about telephotos as well.

I have more photos to come, and then I will post up a link to the complete New York 2012 Flickr set, though admittedly most of my photos were shot with the OMD.

Taken with the GXR and 50mm Noctilux f1.

Nice shots with the 75! So which would you bring for next travel? Or both? I have difficulty deciding if have to choose 1 ;p

I would bring a 15mm, 35mm and 75mm. :P

Though to be honest, I can see why some people who use DSLRs would bring 24-70 and a 70-200. The latter has some uses for landscape when you want to pick out a subsection of an image and focus on that subsection.

Ricoh released update firmware ver 1.51 for GXR today.

My problems are mostly to do with dust falling onto the sensor...

i had that with the m-module i bought 2nd hand, but with very careful and delicate cotton bud i removed de dust, but the 28mm you must disassembled it to see the sensor

where is the link?

I went to take a look at their website again. Not sure why Ricoh took it down from their websites. It was there this morning and I download the firmware. The new firmware update news is updated at their Japan site.

I looked and retrieved from my browser history cache.

Welcome to Ricoh GXR!

Not much changes on the changelog. I will be updating tonight.

Jupiter 9, this lens flare a lot but potential to use it as creative flare

Nice! And it's not too expensive as well, I think. Just that it's difficult to find a really good copy.

Hi, due to work and family, I have not been using the GXR for almost half a year. Really miss it. Finally managed to find sometime over the weekend to do some shooting :) Sharing a few here:

Thanks for viewing. Cheers!

Anyone knows if there's a pixel mapping feature for the Ricoh GXR? Been looking for one, but doesn't seem to be availing.
