Feeling the heat from all the GR around! Let's cool it down! ;)

Anyone uses the A16 lens?

Is it troublesome to use without a manual zoom ring?

it is not troublesome, just that the button zoom is slightly slower.
Though it is not GR lens, because it has no AA filter, the picture is as sharp as 28mm.and good versatile range 24-85mm

Had the X100S for awhile thinking that it would be a good upgrade to the GXR. Although it was technically superior, it was frustrating to shoot at times and was not as comfortable on an emotional level as the GXR. Promptly sold it off after two months of daily use and these are the last pictures of it taken with the A12 50. I grew to appreciate the GXR even more, after the X100S. Hopefully Ricoh updates it or gives us something similar.

Continue with the old GXR 28/2.5 Module:

GXR A12 28/2.5

In a nod to renewing interest in the GXR system, here's a few shots taken earlier this year with my GXR and A16 24-85 module. I really only use this module when traveling (and mostly on a tripod) but I really should bring it out more often!

Most pictures from Tokyo during the cherry blossom season this year....

Who says you can't shoot BIF with the GXR?

When this tree first bloom (and it's a major media event), then cherry blossom season will be declared in all of Tokyo!

Notice the BIG contrast between the Japanese gardens and our "garden".......

Some people shots from the GXR + A16 24-85.....

I admit I'm using this less and less for people shots (preferring other cameras for the job) but I have had memorable shots with it on the street, particularly this one from Shinjuku.

Used the GXR for a simple fashion editorial shoot too!

I'm hoping for a new GXR body with built in higher resolution EVF and faster card write speeds. That's it!
And oh, a new M module with at least 16mp without the AA filter so that I have a backup for my M9 :P

I was reminiscing my year 2009 trip to Ueno Park Tokyo of the nice lakes, birds, cats, people, ...
All those visuals went away suddenly and was replaced by your last photo for editorial shoot,

Nice last photo!

The Gardens' Series are very impressive, Red Dawn!
