My GR with the free-of-charge Voitglander 25mm viewfinder

.... Free because it came with my Voitglander Color-Skopar 25mm f/4 lens
Strangely even though it is for a 25mm lens, the view through the finder matches almost exactly what's on the GR's LCD display.

Really doubt they will consider a telephoto adapter ever since they scraped the 40mm adapter (GT-1) when releasing GRD 3. The IQ of the GT-1 was not as good as the WA adapter and there's also the infamous orange flaring, unless they managed to find a way to improve on both and still keep the size/weight manageable. What's more, the lack of telephoto is not a deal breaker for people who opt for GRD.

Ah... I see.. Hey, not saying that its a deal breaker for me.

Just curious if they had ever thought of doing it as it would be pretty "dangerous" if they do so.. LoL!

Why didn't they announce the PwP on day 1 of sale? So those of us who have already gotten the GR are out of luck on the PwP?

not sure about this, may be can ask the local dealer and show them the receipt (of those recent purchase) whether you are entitled to buy at special price.

That's because it's not an official PWP by the local agent. The agent brought in a batch of GF-1 at a very low price and offered it to their dealers who can either sell them at the normal price and make a big killing or offer it to their customers as PWP incentive for buying Ricoh cameras. I got one today from one of the shops in Funan at the 'special' PWP price even though I didn't buy my GR from them. Then again maybe being one of their regular customers also helped.

Went out to shoot the streets today and to get used to the camera. I love the high contrast black and white effect built-in the camera. I've been shooting in RAW but realized that I need to do the raw development in camera to achieve that effect, tried installing the bundled Silkypix V3.0 but it doesn't support that effect(?) Is there anyway I could do it on the computer instead?

super like the color and contrast from Effect : Film mode One of the best camera could produce image straight out from camera that looks alike scan from slide.

This thread has been growing really fast in the past 2 weeks. Some wonderful photos you guys have posted here.

I only tried the camera once (well, one day actually) before, and as I've said, this should be one of the best pocket cameras ever made so far with great IQ and super handling. The size is just perfect for carrying around wherever we go A lot times I really hoped I had the camera with me when I was traveling in Beijing in the past two weeks
