GRD IV is 1/1.7" an the GR is APS-C sensor.

the smaller sensor of GRD IV actually works in its favour as a street camera since the depth of field is larger even at f1.9 light gathering ability...only thing is that the iso performance will not be as gd as the GR

I just checked my gr4.. It can do more than 1sec exposure..for s mode.. E limit is 8sec.. For manual mode.. U can do blub mode

Then what is it about the spec that indicated GR4 can only hold 1s..
If that's the case, GR4 would do the job for me.. hehe

Anyone knows if the GW-3 hood and adapter can be purchased locally? I am intending to get the wide angle attachment in time to come. In the mean time I am hoping it makes for some physical (mostly mental) protection from dust haha.

The ricoh gr is a really compact camera which do not occupy much space in my bag, so this means more excuses to shoot..

Hi, new to GR here. May I know if I want to purchase a charger, what is the compatible charger that can charge GR battery? Same for the battery, is there any OEM batts for GR, how cheap is it compared to original and whether recommeded?
