It feels really well-built and like a tank without the weight. Like a smaller GXR. Even the buttons have the right spring to them IMO.

Lol I think the GR is *reasonably* priced, but the accessories are a total ripoff.

Rubber isn't necessarily cheaper than plastic. And plastic hood isn't very practical for a wide angle converter like GW3. AFAIK most if not all wide angle converters don't come w hoods at all.

Personally I won't even bother w the hood at all. It's just too troublesome to put on. Much easier just use the converter w/o a hood

True true. The problem is rubber rots in tropical climates. Was playing around with the GW3 today and I got to say this...

... Putting on condoms is tricky business indeed.
