Hi guys, would anyone care to share abit on the GRD's image quality as well as write speed? the website says it's 12sec for raw..
 

Will not arrive so fast lah, just met the Ricoh supplier the other day and she say no news yet ??. :dunno:

hi. i'm a newcomer to photography. can't afford an SLR but looks like the GRD fits the bill for a good learning tool with many manual features, etc. if anyone is thinking of selling his GRD please kindly PM me. thanks.

or all jump ship to GX100 liao? :D
 

read in dpreview grd2 is coming year end. hope its true.
 

Finally bought this little gem after reading so many reviews between GRD and GX100. Very happy with the pic quality and the colors produced ... :thumbsup:

The lens on the GRD is really amazing. Very sharp and distortion free (almost).

I have some pictures from GRD here. Not great pictures but you can see virtually how distortion free the lens is. Look at the buildings. Also the Bokeh and the macro capabilities.

multiply compression doesn't help much in bringing out the resolution though. The original looks snappier

Oh ya. RAW is terrible. I only stick with JPEGs.

hey guys...wanna ask you...me lost the ring covering the connectors on my GRD for connecting the adaptor onto the cam...anyone know how to get that ring replaced huh?...called the Svc centre liaoz...say gonna check for me...so meanwhile...wanna ask you guys...*boo hoo*

ye go to the service center (assume you in singapore) , i got replacement of my lost wide angle lens cap there too.
