Here are some photos I took from the outing... Very hard for me to go "stealth mode" with my extra appendage, so took mainly stills.

Yeah, shot digital. First time doing b&w on the M9, wasn't intending to but my 15mm shots had a disgusting magenta vignette that I couldn't stand, so just avoided it by converting to b&w.
owch didn't know it was still that bad on the M9. no choice, need UV/IR filter then. but the B&W works too!
I hear that the M9 still suffers from some contamination in harsh circumstances. Do let me know how it goes!
Btw guys, anyone got problem focusing 50mm wide open (1.5 or 1.4)? I find that my miss rate higher than my hit rate at that focal length when wide open. any tips? when its spot on, results are magic. but annoying when i think its spot on focusing when its not.

M9 requires cornerfix for certain wide angle lenses. This is a known issue. The reason is that the physical placement of cramming a full frame sensor involves the compromise that certain wide angle rear elements will be too close. For eg super angulon is also known to exhibit magenta shift with M9.
The latest firmware fixed many wide angle lenses for M9, but with some exceptions like Super Angulon. Looks like CV 15 is another one.
Go download cornerfix
Imho no need to always shoot wide open.
