Hi, I'm new here.
I was planning to get LX-5 from Funan today but ended up getting S95 because the staffs discouraged me to get LX-5 as it couldn't take good indoor shoots as compared to S95.

This is my first time getting a semi-pro digital cam, hence I'm pretty noob. And after reading the reviews of LX-5, I'm feeling regret getting S95.

Is it true that LX-5 can't take a good indoor shoots? :confused:

U probly being con by the sales person. If LX5 is not good for indoor shots den it wouldnt be popular anymore... I would be absurb to know that a LX5 that cost $799 retail price cant take indoors?

I think in this tread there are many indoor pic to refer to. AND they do looks good! :thumbsup:

What's the point feeling regret since you already purchase one lao. Try not to think about being con. Go out and learn what S95 can perform and learn its limitation. There will be ppl here singing praise on how good certain brand of system is compare to others. we are not leaving in their shadow so just ignore it. Go out and enjoy shooting. S95 does have some function similar with LX5 and in certain area it does perform better than Lx5. This you have to find out ur self.

Plus point for S95, its still smaller then Lx5 when the lens contract :P

My guess is shut down all the saturation and do the normal black and white adjustment then use the brush to select the portion that you want to retrieve the color :)

Ya, there are plenty of good shots in this thread. Well, I guess the staffs have their reasons to recommend S95 to the customers. Just that I wasn't firm enough to stick to LX-5. >.<

It is always better to look at sample photos online for comparison and read more about it than to believe what sales people say 100%. XD

Lx5 is pretty good for indoor shoot, I don't see any problem so far.

Don't regret~~~ Play with your S95, understand what it can do and make good use of it. : D

most of the time it's not really the camera that is not good but the person who uses it don't really understand what it can do. :thumbsup:

@faisalee
Thank you!! :thumbsup:
