Repairing earphones?

Hi all! Been a long time since I've posted.

Jaben forum doesn't seem to be active so I thought I'd try my luck here.

I've a Earsonics SM3 V1 that's having a typical "one side no sound" problem. No physical damage seen from outside as far as wires are concerned. Internal parts of earphones seem mouldy (I used to run with it, possible short circuit?).

Anyone know what I can do to isolate the source of the problem (driver? cable? 3.5mm jack?) or know any lobang for diagnostics / repair?

Just contacted Earsonics themselves. Not sure if I should try contacting Jaben (their after-sales svc not really very good).

Thoughts?

Hmm anyone can help or know any lobang?

It's quite seldom that there's a short circuit in headphones. It's usually an open circuit problem.
The tricky part is finding out where is the open circuit.
A multimeter and a needle could help you find the location of the open circuit
