I see you posting everywhere telling people to RTFM. The manual is quite big dude, even when you know what you're looking for it can be quite tough. In fact I downloaded the pdf format of the manual and didnt find it. I searched for "bulb", but it did not find it because page 85 shows the graphic (LCD format of the word).

Anyway, I post my findings on CS so another poor soul doesnt waste excessive time on the same problem. I did search the forum before I asked, and came up empty.

I would highly recommend you get the wired MC-DC2 (D90 model, can use MC-DC1 for others). It's only $33. My only problem with it, is that it only has a 1m cable. I can't imagine that being much of an issue for fireworks though.

In case you haven't noticed, there is actually an index page at the end of the manual and it gives you a quick guide on which page to go to to find certain things. Under 'B', you can find Bulb and it says page 85.

That's a good one, read the manual from back. :bsmilie:

Well, RTFM is the first thing I refer to everytime.. I guess most here also would do some fact finding ourselves before asking so we expect the rest to have that bit more initative instead of asking here just to be spoonfed. ;)

don't forget to fine tune your diopter to make sure your image is sharp on viewfinder and matches your output.

actually how to adjust to diopter, i dont really see any difference when turning it left or right

turn all the way left then turn all the way right
if u still can't see the difference, then ur D90 need servicing...

hey guys
i just got the MC-DC2

is there any specific way to remove the cable from the camera after plugging in?
its super tight.. seems stuck
only after quite abit of force am i able to take it out

can't find anything specific on the manuals either
