I'll be at a friend's wedding dinner on Friday, prob will head back to my office at Bugis to change to some comfy clothes & maybe catch some rest before doing the booze cruising till 3am :bsmilie: What a weekend!

Ok Guys, the reason for the early invasion is to ensure we get photos of the process (read photographic moment) not the typical march photos (we'll leave them for the tourist) :bsmilie:

of course personally, I also find the piercing more intriguing than the march itself. Those are the "golden hours" so no choice but to arrive early.

oh yes, regarding the film only / leica only / 35mm questions. Please any cameras are welcome. Dont need to be the red dot only. If you shoot medium format even better. I respect that! Just really bring MORE film. But im going to stick on 35mm format throughout this shoot. Last year, I saw one guy with 200-300mm lenses with 2x 1dmk3, and 2bags with kneel guard so he can kneel down to shoot fast. I really dont know hes going for photoshoot or SOC. whatever you bring, choose wisely and NEVER obstruct the process and be a responsible photographer.

Hi fellas,

Do we actually have permission to shoot on the temple grounds whilst this procedure is underway?

I'm sure individuals do, but if we are going down as a group of 15 or so I'm just wondering if they will allow it.

I'm really contemplating on going, it looks like a whole new photographic experience to me :)

DoveVader, you've been previously, so I was wondering if you knew what the lighting conditions are like there? Think neo1600 + a summilux would suffice?

Cheers,
Shao
