Remember the pain? Thaipusam shootout.

It is my first time meeting so many people. Thanks DoveVadar for organising. Didnt get the chance to interact with some of the people though.
Shot on Delta 3200 on Kiev 88 and IIIf. Though my images are not as outstanding as some of those posted here, hope to learn more!

Interesting. What lens did you have on your IIIf?

Thanks guys!

Nice shots Gary and Thomas. I love your colors. There is seriously something about film eh? ;p

master Wong Fei Hong has some really nice FF digital images too!

Welspain, you need to change your fixer already ;)

Post more pictures guys. Im truely enjoying this thread and dont forget to state your camera, lens, film or processing details...

Bro, thanks for organizing and putting these together...meet, shoot, eat, drink and talk....nice fun....

Yep, LOVE film.

Gotta wait for me to finish up the 3rd roll before I can post more, gotta find a time to use it, iso1600 man! hahaha! Dont have ND filter at the moment & reservist tomorrow!!! :thumbsd:

For all my shots, it was:
Hexar RF
Nokton 35mm F1.4 S.C.
No particular processing, just scan, crop away the film edges & post.

The results are fantastic !!
Let me try pushing it too sometime :)

Could you share the development time ?

i always refer to massive development chart.. ei 1600 is 9.5min-stock but i prolong developing time to 10minutes for extra contrast..

more of the tri-x roll

The pleasure is mine. I enjoyed myself too. Nice to meet some gentlemen in CS.

I used a collapsible Summicron 5cm. :)
its a very fine piece of glass. Dont sell it unless your life depend on its sale.

I am always under the impression that surely you must have a Clubsnap account..
didnt know till this 1st post of yours..
welcome...

Cracking my mind on how to do a different set of Thaipusam shots..
Finally decided to try an edge old technique..

Exposed the processed film to daylight ,
at the end of the development session,
just before adding fixer..
Causing a little Solarisation..

Some water droplets captured on film too..
I guess you could call this a double exposure?

There are some really good photos in this thread, I am really enjoying going through it.

I am quite looking forward to see mine but sadly, I won't be able to post before the end of Feb when I move into my flat and set-up my computer and scanner!!!

Very nice and creative. But I would get this printed, then the real beauty will come out :)

Hi all,

Sorry I missed the Leica troop...was there earlier from 1am. These are shot with M6ttl's and a 35mm cron asph and 50mm lux. Fuji Neopan 400, developed in Tmax developer.

oh i agree with you on the printing part...
viewing it large on screen is really something
with the grain and details...
